LAZZA

Born in Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil, Diego Lazzarin developed a deep connection with music from an early age. At just seven, discovering Gigi D’Agostino introduced him to electronic music and sparked a fascination with its ability to evoke emotion. By fourteen, he was learning to DJ and creating his first remixes.

His journey soon led him to psytrance, where he found a powerful sense of energy, freedom, and connection. In 2013, he launched Electric Frequency, a DJ project through which he explored his musical identity until 2015, sharing the feelings of peace and transcendence that drew him to the genre.

The birth of his daughter, Agnes, in 2020 brought a new perspective to both his life and his relationship with music. Sharing music with her became a way to express love and happiness, gradually leading him toward slower tempos and the atmospheric sounds of melodic techno.

Rooted in the energy of trance and shaped by this personal transformation, Diego’s musical approach centers on emotion, immersive melodies, and the connections music creates, with ourselves and with one another.
